I am 39. I have three kids ages 8-14 and I work full time.  2013 - 2018 were pretty rough years for us, and in 2014/5 my mental health was very low.  That was probably when I decided not to worry much about what I was eating and deal with my mental health.  But then that also led to years of not actually listening to my body and putting on 10-20 pounds per year, until I landed here about 85 pounds heavier than I was 8 months after I had my last child. In 2019 I noticed myself contemplating how 'not too bad' it would be to just start throwing up.  Knowing I was headed down a very disordered path I tried instead to be kinder to myself and learn what I could about intuitive eating.  It was interesting, but I've never felt my health has actually improved or that I learned to listen to my body.

I am one month into working with Kerrie.  I have already learned more about what is going on in my brain and my body (I was a biology major for goodness sake!) than I have from any other place.  I feel like maybe this is actually possible.  Maybe I can learn to partner with my body.  Maybe I don't have to fluctuate so much with weight for the first time
